Trauma-informed psychotherapy
Trauma is not only a memory. It lives in how your body braces, scans and shuts down. Therapy that ignores the body asks half of you to do all the work.
Work with me
Some healing happens one to one. Some happens in a room with people who get it, where you do not have to explain yourself first.
There is a particular relief in hearing someone else describe your own pattern. The constant scanning, the yes that should have been a no, the apology you did not owe. In a group you find out quickly that none of it is a personal defect, and that changes how hard you are on yourself while you work on it.
Everything I run in groups is trauma-informed and clinically grounded, whether it is a single evening workshop or a closed cohort that meets for weeks. Groups are small, and I screen before you join, so the room stays safe for everyone in it. If group work is not the right format for you right now, I will say so and point you to 1:1 therapy instead.
Reset and Rise is my closed-cohort online program for people whose anxiety runs through their relationships: saying yes to keep the peace, over-functioning, feeling responsible for everyone's mood, then collapsing in private. We work on nervous system regulation as a trainable skill, using Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, polyvagal theory and body-based practice, with the group as the place you practise new boundaries before you need them at home.
The program runs a few times a year. Dates and the next opening are on the events page, and the simplest way to know whether the next cohort fits you is a short call.
“I had numerous “light bulb” moments that led to real breakthroughs.”
I teach meditation and mindfulness classes, and run workshops on stress, anxiety and regulation for communities, teams and festivals. I have done this for more than ten years, from NGOs and clinics to retreat centres and conscious-living gatherings in Malta, Spain, Peru and Mexico. The MBCT page describes how I teach; for workplaces, see corporate wellness workshops.
I also consult for retreat centres on the two ends of the work that most centres are weakest at: psychological screening before people arrive, and integration support after they leave. This is clinical work, done independently; I do not run or promote ceremonies, and I have no financial stake in any centre. If you run a centre and want your guests better prepared and better held afterwards, get in touch.
“I absolutely loved Asha's 6-week Reset and Rise Meditation course! … What truly sets Asha apart is that all of her teachings are grounded in science and supported by reputable resources. … Throughout the course, I had numerous “light bulb” moments that led to real breakthroughs.”
“This course offers a comprehensive and clinical approach to improving overall mental and emotional health. … Whether facing stress, anxiety, or challenging situations, having these resources at hand has been immensely valuable.”
I took Asha's class, Self-Love Through Mindfulness. As someone who sees clients, I am a hairstylist and a reiki practitioner, I thought I already had a lot of great tools in my toolbox. This class gave me so much more. It helped me tune into how I can practise self-love, and the most beneficial thing for me was how that translated out into other relationships and the rest of my world. My biggest takeaway was an exercise we did where we made a recording of our perfect life, our perfect day. I play that for myself every day. Sometimes it changes and I rerecord it, but it has been a wonderful tool to have. I highly recommend this class. I would take it again. If you are on the fence, do yourself a favour and just go for it.
Small. Closed cohorts are capped so everyone gets to speak, and workshops are sized to the room. I screen before a cohort starts, with a short call, so that the group is a good fit for each person in it.
Often yes, and sometimes not yet. Groups are trauma-informed: nobody is asked to share their story, and regulation comes before any exploration. If the screening call suggests that 1:1 work would serve you better first, I will tell you, and the door to a later cohort stays open.
You are invited to, not required to. Many people start by listening. Practices are guided, and you can take part with the camera off if that is what lets you stay in the room.
On the events page, and in my newsletter, which is where new cohorts are announced first. If you are unsure whether the next one is for you, book a call and we will work it out in twenty minutes.

When your baseline is alert, everything costs more: sleep, focus, patience, joy. Regulation is a trainable skill, and coaching is the structure for training it.
Not an app, not vibes: a clinical, evidence-based way to train your attention, taught by someone who has practised and taught it for over a decade.
Practical sessions on stress, burnout and nervous-system regulation, built for teams rather than a clinic room.
